Apple subscriptions are billed and managed separately by Apple. Every paid plan includes the same Coach features, a generous practice allowance, and reasonable-use protections. Most users will not need additional capacity; if the included allowance is exhausted, 250 extra turns can be purchased separately for $19.99 while Coach access is active.

Why It Costs What It Costs
This is not a generic chatbot wrapped in a medical label. It runs on physician-authored board-prep frameworks, expensive AI reasoning calls, AI dictation, and a locally maintained infrastructure stack.
The work behind it includes the less glamorous parts too: servers, rack gear, RAM bought during painful RAM-price cycles, network closet cooling, equipment fan swaps, and many hours turning guideline notes and academic reading into structured oral-board material.
The app also draws on the same index-card habit I used for Part 1 boards and throughout my academic career: everything important I read went into cards, patterns, and recall frameworks. AI is only as good as the data and structure it is given, so a lot of the value here is the physician-written preparation layer behind the examiner.
